As part of the demonstration activities offered during the International Batik Exhibition "Patterns of Change" I made a brief demonstration of the Batik process with natural dyes on silk scarves.
To dye I used Organic Indigo and a beautiful yellow dye that I got from Rainbow Eucalyptus leaves collected from trees in the same Botanical Garden.
To apply the wax I used kistkas and a stamp.
It was a different experience, maybe I was a little nervous, because most of the spectators were batik artists, but in the end it turned out very well!
